AGAPE FEAST: Our AGAPE Feast Communion is coming up on Good Friday, April 14th at 6:00 pm.
ACC NEWS: We are pleased to announce that Abner Campos will be coming as our new Associate Pastor, he will be graduating this May from Union College.  Prior to arriving here during Camp meeting, he will be marrying his fiancé Debbie.  We are looking forward to getting to know them both as they join in the ACC family.
BIBLE MARKING CLASS:  Come join us on Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm and chain reference Bible subjects. 
 FOOD/ITEMS OF THE MONTH:  APRIL ~ Help us to keep the cupboards at the Community Service Center filled. “Peanut butter, Jelly, Pasta sauce, boxed cereal, soups, and canned or boxed dinners”.  Thank you so much for what you have provided in the past, as it makes a difference to the hungry person.  There will be a basket/box set up in the foyer to collect all the supplies. 
Our brunch that is scheduled for Sunday, April 9 is being canceled. 
Keep in mind the “Women’s Ministry Spring Day Event”, on Sabbath, April 29th will be held in Auburn Adventist Academy’s Dower Chapel.  Registration closes April 23rd.  If you need a registration form, contact Debbie Gamble (253) 833-9516.
Sunday, May 7th ~ Pre-Mother’s Day Brunch, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  More information coming soon!
STREET MISSION SUPPLIES: We are running low on a few of our toiletry items, things like deodorant, nail clippers, chap stick, dental floss, toothbrushes, travel-size toothpaste, and shave cream for men & women.  If you could help donate any of these items we would appreciate your help.
SAGE Senior Activities: Pencil in these dates to join Seniors in Action for God with Excellence!
•      April 13 - SAGE meets at Tulip Town, Mt. Vernon, at 10 am. Admission is $6.
•      May 7-11 - SAGE Sunset Lake Work Bee to clean up camp before season starts. Delicious meals included.    
        Stay in cabins or bring RVs.
•      May 13 - SAGE Reunion Day with Maranatha's Don and Laura Noble at Conference Office, 10 am, potluck
January 9-25, 2018 - SAGE Maranatha Mission Trip to Costa Rica. Build 4 one-day churches, paint existing churches, hold medical clinics, VBSs, and evangelistic meetings.
1)      Buena Vista SDA School announces Kindergarten Round-Up for all incoming Kindergarten students for the 2017-2018 school year (must turn 5 by August 31, 2017). It will be held on Wednesday, April 12, from 9:00-11:00am at BV. Children will get acquainted with the teacher and school, and parents will receive helpful information regarding Buena Vista and the registration process. Contact Mrs. Ellis at 253-833-0718 with questions or to RSVP for the event.
2)      Buena Vista SDA School is developing a new preschool program and is hiring for the position of lead preschool teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. The position is part time (22.5 hours a week). Candidates must have a degree in Early Childhood Education or at least 16 units completed in early child education, child development or a related field required. Successful teaching experience at a preschool or a child development center preferred. Candidates must be members of the SDA church. Come close out the Sabbath and year with Vespers on April 29th at 8:00 pm.  Following Vespers, we will be having a Game night. Bring your favorite board or card game and a snack to share with others.  Remember everyone is invited to both the Vespers & Game night.
WASHINGTON CONFERENCE NEWS:  Super Sunday, April 23, 2017 / Outreach Ministries is a family of ministries building bridges between churches and the community. Several ministry coordination meetings will be taking place including:
​10 am - Conference-wide ACS Federation Executive Committee
1 pm - Disaster Response Coordinating Committee
​1 pm - Adventist Prison Ministry Executive Committee
​3 pm - Personal Ministries Coordinating Committee

Run2Educate: Sunday, April 23, 2017
Color Run - Run2Educate : Color Run is a family friendly 2.5 mile course with obstacles spaced throughout to get covered in color! Registration is $30 per participant from now until April 21st. You can register online at www.run2educate.net.
Race Day - April 23rd registration is $40 per participant and can only be done on-site. Registration and packet pick-up opens at 8:00 a.m. 4/23. Color Run Start Heats will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Registration will include Run2Educate Race Shirt, Color Run Participation Gear Packet and Pancake Breakfast Pass, Kids ages 2-8th Grade will also receive a Pass for the Kid's Obstacle Course. Additional Kid's Obstacle Course Passes and Pancake Breakfast passes can be purchased on-site for $5.00.
There will be a Silent Auction put on by our generous sponsors. Cash and Credit Cards Accepted. Funds raised from Run2Educate Color Run 2017 will go toward Active Classroom Learning equipment and After School Sports. Register today at www.run2educate.net.
