CONDOLENCES: Memorial service for Alice Kirkman will beSabbath, April 1st at 3:00 pm. Let’s continue to keep the family in our prayers.  (for all those attending, we ask that as many as can to car pool. We are expecting 300 + people coming to pay their respects to the family.)  

ACC NEWS: We are pleased to announce that Abner Campos will be coming as our new Associate Pastor, he will be graduating this May from Union College.  Prior to arriving here during Camp meeting, he will be marrying his fiancé Debbie.  We are looking forward to getting to know them both as they join in the ACC family.

 FOOD/ITEMS OF THE MONTH: APRIL ~ Help us to keep the cupboards at the Community Service Center filled. “Peanut butter, Jelly, Pasta sauce, boxed cereal, soups, and canned or boxed dinners”.Thank you so much for what you have provided in the past, as it makes a difference to the hungry person.  There will be a basket/box set up in the foyer to collect all the supplies.  
 REVELATION SPEAKS PEACE: Life a little (or a lot) chaotic?   Give your friends “Gift of Peace” through the seminar series.  This event occurs every week on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:00 pm, from March 10, 2017 to April 8, 2017. This seminar series with Pastor Shawn Boonstra will be held nightly (except Mondays and Thursdays) at the Puyallup fair’s Agriplex. Parking inside the Green gate area.
 
SPECIAL PRAYER:  We will be having a special prayer time at 9:00 am on Sabbath mornings in the library to pray for the Voice of Prophecy meeting coming in March.
 
STREET MISSION SUPPLIES: We are running low on a few of our toiletry items, things like deodorant, nail clippers, chap stick, dental floss, toothbrushes, travel-size toothpaste, and shave cream for men & women.  If you could help donate any of these items we would appreciate your help.
 
AAA ALUMNI: Auburn Academy Alumni Department are looking for people to help with folding the Alumni Newsletter this coming Sunday, April 2nd.  They are starting at 9:00 am, but you can come whenever you are available to the school library.
 
SUNSET LAKE CAMP:  April 7-9 – Refresh Retreat at Sunset Lake Camp
You and your family are invited to spend the weekend with your friends at Sunset Lake Camp. Each summer Sunset Lake is proud to host your children and give them a place where they belong.  But many of you have asked how your entire family can enjoy all that camp has to offer. On April 7-9 Sunset Lake is hosting our annual Refresh Family Retreat and we would like to invite you and your family to join us. The family-centered weekend feature fun activities, great food, and amazing times of worship featuring Randy Roberts, senior pastor of Loma Linda University Church. SAGE Senior Activities: Pencil in these dates to join Seniors in Action for God with Excellence! 
•​April 13 - SAGE meets at Tulip Town, Mt. Vernon, at 10 am. Admission is $6. 
•​May 7-11 - SAGE Sunset Lake Work Bee to clean up camp before season starts. Delicious meals included.   
       Stay in cabins or bring RVs. 
•​May 13 - SAGE Reunion Day with Maranatha's Don and Laura Noble at Conference Office, 10 am, potluck 
       lunch. 
January 9-25, 2018 - SAGE Maranatha Mission Trip to Costa Rica. Build 4 one-day churches, paint existing churches, hold medical clinics, VBSs, and evangelistic meetings.
 
BV NEWS:  
1) Buena Vista SDA School announces Kindergarten Round-Up for all incoming Kindergarten students for the 2017-2018 school year (must turn 5 by August 31, 2017). It will be held on Wednesday, April 12, from 9:00-11:00am at BV. Children will get acquainted with the teacher and school, and parents will receive helpful information regarding Buena Vista and the registration process. Contact Mrs. Ellis at 253-833-0718 with questions or to RSVP for the event.
2) 
Buena Vista SDA School is developing a new preschool program and is hiring for the position of lead preschool teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. The position is part time (22.5 hours a week). Candidates must have a degree in Early Childhood Education or at least 16 units completed in early child education, child development or a related field required. Successful teaching experience at a preschool or a child development center preferred. Candidates must be members of the SDA church. Run2Educate: Sunday, April 23, 2017
Color Run - Run2Educate : Color Run is a family friendly 2.5 mile course with obstacles spaced throughout to get covered in color! Registration is $30 per participant from now until April 21st. You can register online at www.run2educate.net.
Race Day - April 23rd registration is $40 per participant and can only be done on-site. Registration and packet pick-up opens at 8:00 a.m. 4/23. Color Run Start Heats will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Registration will include Run2Educate Race Shirt, Color Run Participation Gear Packet and Pancake Breakfast Pass, Kids ages 2-8th Grade will also receive a Pass for the Kid's Obstacle Course. Additional Kid's Obstacle Course Passes and Pancake Breakfast passes can be purchased on-site for $5.00.
There will be a Silent Auction put on by our generous sponsors. Cash and Credit Cards Accepted. Funds raised from Run2Educate Color Run 2017 will go toward Active Classroom Learning equipment and After School Sports. Register today at www.run2educate.net.

Auburn City Church has an online presence through our website and Facebook page.  We regularly publish pictures, stories, bulletin, etc. that would include names and faces.  Our policy is to not print children’s last names nor to connect children’s names and faces on pictures.   If you would prefer not to have your child’s name or picture on our sites, please notify the office.  This complies with the current Washington Conference guidelines.
