Hello ACC Members – Here’s What’s Happening

FOOD/ITEMS OF THE MONTH:  Help us to keep the cupboards at the Community Service Center filled. “Bottles of Water! Boxed Cereal, Peanut butter & Jelly (small jars), Cup of Soup type soups, canned Fruit.  Not needed are dried beans, peas, rice, pasta and flour (it seems like the families don’t even use them)”.  Thank you so much for what you have provided in the past, as it makes a difference to the hungry person.  There will be a basket/box set up in the foyer to collect all the supplies.                 
YOUTH BIBLE STUDIES: Pastor Abner is beginning Baptismal class for youth, ages 9 and up.  If you are interested in joining Pastor Abner, please let him know or call the church and leave a message for him.
60’s Theme”   (Black, White and Pink.)  Catered by and held at Auburn Adventist Academy cafeteria on Sunday, February 11th, at 4:00 pm-6:30 pm. There are vegan & gluten free menu options. Make checks to the church, put in and mark tithe envelope “Valentine’s Banquet”, or hand to Wanda Zeman, they need to be in by February 3rd.  Don’t forget to sign up with Wanda or text or call 253-951-2166. If you are interested in participating by singing, contact Wanda.
GLOVES & SOCKS NEEDED:   Christmas may be over, but Winter is here! Women’s Ministry and AC Community Center have been asked to collect gloves and socks for homeless men, women and children.  All sizes. Two (2) baskets/boxes will be set up in the foyer for all donations.  Their need for warm items continues.  If you have questions, contact Debbie Gamble (253) 833-9516.
AAA OPEN HOUSE:  Enjoy an evening at Auburn Adventist Academy on Wednesday, January 17, at 6-9 PM, touring the campus, classrooms and dorms.  Get a chance to meet the faculty, staff and coaches and learn about the academic, athletic and music programs! CPR / BLS Training on Sunday, January 28th at 9:30 am, only have room for 12, so please call the church office to register.  The cost is $60 to be paid when you arrive for training.
SAGE Senior Activities: Pencil in these dates to join Seniors in Action for God with Excellence!
  • January 9-25, 2018 - SAGE Maranatha Mission Trip to Costa Rica. Build 4 one-day churches, paint existing churches, hold medical clinics, VBSs, and evangelistic meetings.
Auburn City Church has an online presence through our website and Facebook page.  We regularly publish pictures, stories, bulletin, etc. that would include names and faces.  Our policy is to not print children’s last names nor to connect children’s names and faces on pictures.   If you would prefer not to have your child’s name or picture on our sites, please notify the office.  This complies with the current Washington Conference guidelines.
