ADVENTURERs’: One of the Adventurers’ favorite activity is the “store!” During the year, Adventurers earn points for various activities such as coming in uniform and being on time.  They can use the points earned to redeem items from the store.   We would like to increase the quality of items in the store so the items they choose have more of a life-changing effect.  You may help by purchasing Bible story books, children’s Bibles, appropriate nature or animal books, or providing crafts that the children can redeem, at the store.   In this way, you can add a great big smile to a child’s face while helping them learn about God’s love through his word or through nature.  Donated items may be given to:  Pastor Berg, Lisa Berg, or Shawna Jones-Marsh.

ELECTRONIC READER BOARD SIGN:  We have an opportunity to reach out to the community without leaving the church.  Someone has generously offered to donate up to $15,ooo to help purchase a new electronic reader board sign for our church.  Every dollar that you contribute will be matched up the first $15,000.  We have had consistent response from the community when we are able to use our portable reader board sign to advertize the different programs that our church offers.  The current sign does not have the ability to give very much information about what we are offering, and is also difficult to change in a timely manner.  The new sign has been researched by a church appointed committee, and you will be seeing a picture of that sign in the near future.  It will replace the existing sign with a lighted electronic message board on a newly designed monument, and will be an attractive addition to our church facility that will give us the ability to interact with the community 24/7.  There will be more information in the coming months.  Let’s take advantage of this opportunity to double our offering dollars. So far we have received $1,713 towards the matching, as of 8/25/12.

DONATIONS FOR DISASTER BOX: We are looking to put our Disaster Boxes together and are in need of the following items to put in them, any help would be very much appreciated.  Thank you for your donations for the A.E.D we have received enough money to purchase one.
